Information, not advice

The guides, figures and programme pages on this site are general information for prospective students. They are not legal, immigration, financial or tax advice, and reading them does not create a client relationship.

Official sources take precedence

Where this site states a rule or a figure, we name its source and the date we checked it. If this site and the official source disagree, the official source is right and we would like to know so we can fix ours.

• Residence permits, funds requirements, work limits — Migri, the Finnish Immigration Service.
• Admission requirements, tuition and intakes — the university concerned.
• Student benefits and meal subsidies — Kela.
• Student healthcare — FSHS.

Estimates are labelled

Where a university has not confirmed an intake date or a fee, the page says “estimated” rather than presenting a guess as fact. Treat anything labelled that way as subject to change.

Student stories

Testimonials are the words of individual students, published with their permission, describing their own experience. They are not a prediction of your outcome. Every application is decided on its own merits.
