At a glance

  • IntakeConfirmed per intake
  • Duration1.5 – 1.9 years
  • Tuition€12,500 one-time · estimated
  • LanguageCertificate not mandatory

Entry requirements

  • A bachelor's degree, usually in business, commerce, management or a close relative.
  • Pass the online interview conducted by the university.

This is the route we most often suggest to applicants who are strong on paper but did not clear the Education Management interview, so it is worth asking about either way.

Language

A language certificate is not mandatory. IELTS 6.5, PTE 55 or TOEFL 60 strengthens an application, but admission is decided by the online interview.

Fees

  • Tuition€12,500, paid once · estimated
  • Application fee€100
  • IntakeConfirmed per intake — ask us for the current one

Tuition applies to non-EU/EEA students. EU/EEA citizens pay none. Figures are as published by the university and are confirmed with you in writing before you commit to anything.

What the programme is

A postgraduate diploma in business management, taught in English at Metropolia in the Helsinki region. It suits graduates who want a Finnish qualification and a route into the Finnish labour market without committing to a full master's straight away.

Admission runs through the university's own online interview rather than a language certificate, which is what makes it reachable for applicants whose IELTS has not come through.

Bring your family

Your spouse and child can travel with you at the same time, on a one-year extendable visa. You will need to show funds for each of them — the amounts are on this page.
